Elissa Freiha is the founder of womena, a regional platform focused on advancing women’s economic participation across the Middle East. Over the past decade, she has led initiatives spanning financial literacy, investment access, and entrepreneurial support, directing capital and resources toward women-led projects and businesses. Under her leadership, womena has grown into a multi-platform organization that combines content, community, and investment-driven programs to support women founders and leaders. Freiha also serves as a founding board member of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, contributing to discussions on the region’s digital and entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition to her work at womena, Freiha is involved in content production and public discourse around gender equity, entrepreneurship, and leadership, and has been recognized by regional and international organizations for her impact in this space.
