UAE launches Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Abu Dhabi with Dell Technologies
The center will accelerate cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure while supporting the UAE’s knowledge-based economy ambitions.
The UAE Cyber Security Council and Dell Technologies have announced the launch of a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Abu Dhabi.
Unveiled during the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates in Abu Dhabi, the initiative marks a strategic collaboration to advance cybersecurity capabilities across the country. It forms part of the UAE’s broader efforts to strengthen digital resilience and support the development of a secure, technology-driven economy.
The center will leverage technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing to enhance real-time threat detection and response. It will also offer advanced training programs and cyber simulation exercises to help develop local talent and address the cybersecurity skills gap.
Officials said the initiative is expected to support research and development efforts while enabling startups to bring locally developed cybersecurity solutions to market. The partnership also aims to strengthen data protection and build greater trust in digital services across both public and private sector platforms.
The center will focus on accelerating the development and deployment of advanced cybersecurity solutions across critical infrastructure, while supporting the UAE’s broader ambition to build a competitive, knowledge-based economy.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, said the partnership reflects the country’s commitment to strengthening digital capabilities and protecting critical infrastructure through advanced technologies. He added that it supports the UAE’s ambition to position itself as a global hub for innovation and digital trust.
