Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) has launched a Sports Innovation Incubator in partnership with RSport Holding, as part of broader efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship within the Kingdom’s growing sports industry.

The initiative is designed to support entrepreneurs and innovators in transforming early-stage ideas into scalable ventures, while contributing to the overall attractiveness of investment in the sports sector.

The incubator will target projects focused on sports and related technologies through a 24-week programme. Participants will be provided with co-working spaces, training workshops, mentorship and advisory services, alongside opportunities to connect with enabling entities and potential investors.

The program aims to enhance participants’ readiness to enter the market and support the development of sustainable, growth-oriented business models.

In addition, the incubator will offer specialised tracks covering sports technology and investment solutions. These tracks are expected to contribute to improving service quality across the sector and expanding opportunities for innovation, particularly in areas such as digital platforms, performance analytics, and fan engagement solutions.

The initiative also seeks to foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, industry stakeholders, and investors, creating an integrated ecosystem that supports the development and scaling of sports-related ventures.

The launch forms part of Monshaat’s broader efforts to support small and medium enterprises and translate innovation into sustainable economic activity, contributing to the development of the sports industry in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
