Lockheed Martin Middle East and Africa

For investing in the next generation of innovators

Lockheed Martin Middle East and Africa is building a stronger talent pipeline for advanced industries through the Center for Innovation and Security Solutions (CISS). This STEM-focused program connects students with real-world challenges across fields such as aerospace, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, autonomy, and space technologies. Instead of just classroom learning, participants get hands-on experience working with engineers and industry experts, helping them bridge the gap between academic study and practical skills.

In the past year, CISS has grown its impact through internships, research projects, and partnerships that give students experience with new technologies and complex engineering settings. More than 50 interns have completed the program, working on projects from AI-powered aircraft inspections and autonomous aviation to space exploration and advanced simulations. Since it began, the initiative has supported over 300 students, many of whom now work in engineering, research, technology, or public service. By offering mentorship, technical training, and industry access, Lockheed Martin is helping young people gain the skills and experience needed for a knowledge-based economy and opening doors to fields that were once hard to enter.
