Ajman to roll out 100 AI initiatives under Ajman Vision 2030

Ajman has launched the executive phase of its Artificial Intelligence Program, marking the start of government-wide implementation as the emirate accelerates its digital transformation agenda.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Member of the Executive Council and Leader of the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Program. The rollout follows the establishment of the program’s Enablement and Governance Committee, the formation of its Executive Team, the issuance of executive directives outlining implementation timelines, and a review of existing AI use cases across government entities.

“The phase aims to translate the program’s objectives into practical applications that improve government performance, enhance public services, and strengthen the Ajman Government’s readiness for the future,” Sheikh Humaid said.

The executive phase will activate the Enablement and Governance Committees and the Executive Team, appoint AI coordinators across government entities, conduct a comprehensive review of existing AI applications, and establish a unified operational framework. It also aims to standardize AI practices across government departments, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote the responsible adoption and use of artificial intelligence.

As part of the initiative, the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Program aims to launch 100 initiatives aligned with the eight pillars of Ajman Vision 2030 to enhance government services and strengthen the emirate’s competitiveness.

The latest move builds on Ajman’s growing adoption of AI across public services. Last month, the Government of Ajman, through the Department of Digital Ajman, completed the UAE’s first government transaction to renew a trade license using agentic AI under a proactive, headless government service model.

Initially focused on trade license renewals through the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, the system automatically notifies businesses before their licenses expire and guides them through the renewal process via the AjmanOne app. It also integrates with the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department for commercial lease renewals, streamlining approvals and reducing the need for customer intervention.
