EDGE and ADNOC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance strategic capability development and AI-focused workforce training across ADNOC’s operations, reinforcing the UAE’s push toward a knowledge-based and digitally enabled economy.

Under the agreement, EDGE will deliver specialized training programs to ADNOC employees through BRIDGE, the group’s strategic platform dedicated to advancing technologies from development to industrialization and operational excellence. The initiative builds on a previous collaboration in which BRIDGE trained more than 450 ADNOC employees in practical AI applications, leadership development, and data-driven decision-making.

The new programs will support ADNOC’s AI initiatives across human capital and technology integration, covering areas such as leadership development, diversity and inclusion, advanced upskilling, workforce enablement, innovation challenges, and critical dual-use technologies related to sustainability, infrastructure resilience, and energy assets.

Sana AlDaoumi, Group Senior Vice President of Human Capital at EDGE, said the partnership would help accelerate the development of sustainable in-country expertise aligned with the UAE’s long-term national vision.

“By bringing EDGE’s advanced technology, AI, and workforce development expertise directly into ADNOC’s operations, this collaboration accelerates the development of world-class, sustainable in-country capabilities that serve the UAE’s long-term national vision,” she said.

AlDaoumi added that the partnership would provide ADNOC employees with access to advanced tools, knowledge, and programs designed to strengthen sovereign talent and deepen sector expertise across the energy industry.

The agreement reflects growing collaboration between two of Abu Dhabi’s largest conglomerates as the UAE intensifies efforts to integrate AI and advanced technologies into key industrial sectors. Both companies are playing an increasingly prominent role in advancing the country’s industrialization agenda and building a resilient knowledge economy.

Ahmed Al Mheiri, ADNOC’s Senior Vice President of Group People & Culture Shared Services, said the agreement highlights ADNOC’s focus on empowering local talent through AI-driven capabilities.

“This strategic agreement between ADNOC and EDGE underscores our commitment to enable local talent to harness the power of AI to support ADNOC’s growth and drive progress for the UAE,” he said.
