Dubai SME partners with noon Food to scale Emirati F&B businesses through digital platform
Participating SMEs will be provided with onboarding assistance, operational support, account management, and regular performance reporting.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, has signed a partnership with noon Food to support the growth of Emirati-owned SMEs in the food and beverage sector.
The memorandum of understanding establishes a framework to onboard eligible Dubai SME members onto noon’s digital platform, giving them access to its customer base, delivery network, payment systems, and marketing tools. The initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the city’s economy by 2033 and strengthen its position as a hub for SMEs.
Under the agreement, noon Food will waive onboarding fees for participating businesses and introduce a five-year commission structure starting at 10% in the first year and rising to 20% by the fifth year. The company will also provide marketing support, including advertising credits and increased visibility during seasonal campaigns, to lower entry barriers and support customer acquisition.
Participating SMEs will receive onboarding support, operational guidance, account management services, and regular performance reporting. Dubai SME will nominate eligible businesses, promote the initiative, and oversee its implementation.
Ahmad Al Room Almheiri, Acting CEO of Dubai SME, said the partnership is designed to expand opportunities for Emirati entrepreneurs by combining institutional backing with access to digital platforms.
Faraz Khalid, Group CEO of noon, said the collaboration will equip local businesses with the infrastructure needed to scale and contribute to the goals of the D33 agenda.
SMEs account for more than 95% of registered companies in Dubai and play a central role in employment, innovation, and economic diversification. Emirati-owned F&B businesses are becoming an increasingly important part of the city’s food sector and digital commerce ecosystem.
The five-year partnership is expected to expand market access, increase brand visibility, and accelerate digital adoption among Emirati entrepreneurs in the F&B sector.
