Poised to make a strong impression at this year’s World Travel Market, Saudi Arabia is leading a delegation of 61 key stakeholders to highlight the nation’s rapid tourism growth.

His Excellency Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), will lead the delegation alongside STA CEO Fahd Hamidaddin and other key figures from Saudi’s tourism sector.

The delegation includes representatives from major organizations like the Ministry of Tourism, the Tourism Development Fund, Cruise Saudi, Saudia, Riyadh Air, Red Sea Global, and the Royal Commission for AlUla. Key projects like NEOM, as well as cultural and entertainment attractions such as Riyadh Season, MDL Beast, and Qiddiya, will also be prominently showcased.

Seventeen hotel brands—both local and international—will be present, marking the largest number of hotel partners represented at the Saudi Pavilion.

Over the three-day event, the Saudi delegation is expected to make significant announcements and unveil new partnerships aligned with the Kingdom’s forward-looking tourism strategy. Delegates will also engage in bilateral meetings and speaking engagements as Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector continues to surpass growth expectations.

The Saudi Pavilion will showcase a variety of immersive experiences, including virtual reality tours, traditional performances, and culinary delights.

Saudi Arabia’s participation at WTM follows the launch of its “Where Winter Lights Up” campaign, part of the broader “This Land is Calling” initiative. This initiative aims to attract visitors to key destinations in the Kingdom, inviting travelers to experience year-round events such as Riyadh Season, AlUla Festival, the Dakar Rally, and the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.
