From conducting business meetings to changing retail experiences, the metaverse knows no bounds. 

Adding to the list of many things that can be done in this collective virtual shared space, the interplanetary metaverse project Everdome has announced its first rocket launch to Mars this year. 

Since its inception in early 2022, Everdome’s metaverse project has promised immersive hyper-reality in graphics, stories, soundscapes, and experiences, with the rocket launch marking a “major milestone in the creation of the metaverse,” according to the company statement.

The voyage to Mars would begin from a near-future spaceport in the United Arab Emirates’ Hatta mountains, where Everdome’s web3 pioneers will embark on their first interplanetary spaceship ‘Everdome Cycler’ to a new settlement for humankind on Mars.

Everdome’s city on Mars is located in Jezero Crater, a site picked by NASA for its current space missions. Once in the city, the Evernauts will enjoy varied narratives and experiences in this virtual, hyper-realistic metaverse world, including adventure, entertainment, learning, and trading.

This rocket launch represents a significant milestone in the metaverse development, gradually taking this new digital frontier from a frequently misunderstood concept to tangible reality, the statement said.

The company will live-stream this landmark launch on YouTube for the world to experience the metaverse’s true potential.
