It’s something we’ve all been waiting for. And it’s finally happening. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, known for his lavish orchestral performances, will perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on January 27, 2023. 

It is part of the Dubai Presents marketing campaign series launched by the Department of Economy and Tourism and will be one of the closing performances of the Dubai Shopping Festival.

The German composer is known for some of the most listened-to soundtracks in the history of cinema; his famous scores in films include The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, and Dune.

The one-off performance will include two and a half hours of new and reimagined arrangements from the German composer’s back catalog, recreated on stage by Zimmer himself, accompanied by an orchestra, a live band, and dancers.

“I am delighted that Dubai is the first city in the Middle East to host Hans Zimmer Live, a city that has cemented its position as one of the world’s most exciting, sophisticated, and diverse cities with over 200 nationalities, which is a unique opportunity for me to address a multicultural audience in the language of world music,” said Zimmer in a statement. 

Tickets will be available on the Coca-Cola Arena website starting from November 25.
