Qatari women play significant roles in achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030 and effectively contribute to the country’s growth.

Speaking at the 10th Conference of Muslim Women Parliamentarians, which was held in Algiers, Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, the deputy speaker of the Shura Council, emphasized the role Qatar’s leadership plays in promoting and advancing women to become a true partners in the country’s comprehensive development.

She claimed that Qatari women had made significant strides in several professions and have taken on executive, management, and leadership roles in several industries.

During the conference, she further emphasized H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser’s assistance in advancing women’s rights and establishing them as a cornerstone of Qatar’s growth.

The state has provided women with educational opportunities from early stages to postgraduate levels, whether inside or outside the country, Dr. Sulaiti said.

The 10th Conference of Muslim Women Parliamentarians examined measures to protect Muslim women and children in areas under occupation and war, particularly in Palestine, as well as the capacity of women to resolve local and regional problems and conflicts.

She emphasized the significance of giving the Palestinian cause more consideration so that it can be seen as one of the Islamic world’s top priorities and its primary concern.
