This weekend, superstar singer-songwriter Alicia Keys was at Saudi Arabia’s AlUla for a concert on Friday, belting out her greatest hits, including Girl on Fire, Don’t Know My Name, and City of Gods, at mirrored arts and cultural venue Maraya. She hosted the second installment of the Women to Women discussion at Madrasat Addeera on Saturday.

“My time in AlUla has been magical✨✨✨ The love you show me warms me more than the sun! I’m humbled by our connection! more to come,” Keys posted on Instagram.

This was the second edition of a special off-the-record Women to Women discussion hosted by the award-winning performer. Last year, at the inaugural edition, she was joined by Princess Reema bint Bandar.

On Saturday, accompanying Keys on the panel were Rasha Alkhamis, Saudi Arabia’s first female boxer; Mashael Alobeidan, a professional rally driver and Hafsa Alkhudairi, a writer and arts and culture initiatives lead at the Royal Commission for AlUla. They discussed the challenges women face and how they can become each other’s allies and highlighted inspiring women across the region. It was an intimate gathering where the participants interacted with Keys and the other speakers.

The concert and the Women to Women event are part of a collaboration between the RCU and Good Intentions, a global, Saudi-based creative consultancy co-founded last year by Keys’s husband, producer and creative mogul Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean, and Saudi native Noor Taher.

Keys’ concert was part of the AlUla Arts Festival, which runs until February 28.
