With rapid digitization, offering the proper education and training for human talent is crucial. Saudi Arabia recognizes this need through a new initiative called the “Human Capability Initiative,” as announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The platform aims to facilitate global discussions on challenges and opportunities in developing human capabilities. The inaugural conference is scheduled from February 28 to 29 at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
It will explore the theme of “Future Readiness,” bringing together 6,000 experts and more than 150 governmental speakers across private and non-profit sectors and think tanks from around the world.
Yousef Al-Benyan, Minister of Education, who also chairs the Executive Committee of the Human Capability Development Program, described the initiative as a “global cooperative platform to catalyze international collaboration, enrich global dialogue in human capability development and contribute to the development of human skills and a prosperous global economy.”
The conference will address challenges related to the development of human capabilities in the context of global changes.
“Topics addressed at HCI are of vital importance in driving new conversations on shaping policy, collaboration and private-public-third sector partnerships and investment at a global level in developing human capabilities. They will contribute to building strong and flexible economies to meet future challenges,” he added.
