Dubai could have 15,000 school seats by 2033. An expansion project, Dubai Schools, was launched with a budget of $144.32 million.

The expansion revolves around a significant increase in the number of schools and available seats, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and modern facilities, and fostering an environment that champions innovation and creativity within the classroom.

This ambitious move is expected to add over 6,400 seats, accompanied by the establishment of 295 classrooms and 123 laboratories and specialized classrooms.

“The new initiative to expand the Dubai Schools project will contribute significantly to ensuring that the emirate’s school offerings not only meet but exceed global benchmarks of educational excellence,” said Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

Dubai Schools was initially launched in 2021 to provide an innovative school model tailored to offering high-quality education that matches affordability. The project aims to create a new Emirati schooling system that provides a high standard of education rooted in national values.
