After introducing Gemini Pro into Bard in English in December, Google now provides more advanced understanding, reasoning, summarizing, and coding abilities in over 40 languages, including Arabic.

Gemini Pro in Bard will similarly be available in more than 230 countries and territories, including the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), allowing people utilizing the chatbot to have a more collaborative and capable version of Bard.

The Large Model Systems Organization, a leading evaluator of language models and chatbots across languages, recently shared that Bard with Gemini Pro is one of the most preferred chatbots available.

“Google’s Bard has just made a stunning leap, surpassing GPT-4 to the SECOND SPOT on the leaderboard,” the organization wrote on X.

A feature to double-check responses will also expand into availability in 40 languages, including Arabic.

When people click on the “G” icon, Bard will evaluate whether there is content across the web to substantiate its response. If it can be evaluated, the user can click the highlighted phrases and learn more about supporting or contradicting information found by Search.

Additionally, Google is introducing image generation to help more ideas come to life. The feature is available in English and powered by Google’s updated Imagen 2 model, designed to balance quality and speed. Users must type in a description, and Bard will generate custom, wide-ranging visuals.
