In a move to enhance Saudi Arabia’s media landscape, NEOM Media Industries Sector has partnered with the Saudi Broadcasting Authority. This collaboration will focus on producing local content and fostering talent, aiming to cultivate the kingdom’s media production landscape and digital capabilities.

“This initiative is pivotal in accelerating our ascent to regional and global prominence. We anticipate that this strategic partnership will catalyze innovation, spur economic growth and strengthen cultural foundations, thereby advancing our vision of significantly contributing to the evolution of the global media landscape,” said Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM.

As part of the partnership, the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) will establish an ongoing operational presence within the NEOM Media Hub, utilizing its infrastructure, technology services, financial production incentives, and regulatory support.

Additionally, SBA will collaborate with NEOM Industry Learning to co-develop training programs across the creative industries value chain. The programs aim to provide on-set experience, with 80 trainees expected to graduate by 2025, helping to cultivate national talent.

Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Harthi, CEO of SBA, said, “With its cutting-edge infrastructure and commitment to investing in local talents, NEOM aligns with SBA’s goal to produce authentic Saudi content with global visibility, and aims to enrich local expertise.”
