To advance the legislative framework, enhance future readiness, and align with national development goals, the Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai has launched its updated strategic plan for 2024-2029.

This revised plan seeks to cultivate an innovative legislative environment that positively impacts all aspects of economic, social, and cultural life.

The new mission of the Supreme Legislation Committee aims to enhance the quality of legislation, ensuring alignment with global developments and future trends. It seeks to foster a stable and innovative legislative environment that emphasizes transparency and the principle of assured justice, achieved through effective collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, Secretary-General of the Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai, stated that the updated strategic plan for 2024-2029 provides a comprehensive framework to guide the committee’s efforts in developing a legislative system aligned with core values and institutional principles. This plan aligns with Dubai’s goal of becoming a preferred global destination for living, working, and visiting.

He emphasized that the committee is intensifying its efforts to implement the strategic plan by adopting a flexible approach and creating integrated legislative frameworks that streamline operations while addressing societal needs and fostering economic growth.

The 2024-2029 strategic plan focuses on evolving balanced and sustainable legislation, promoting legislative awareness, enhancing operations and services, and preparing institutions for the future, all while ensuring the effective implementation of laws.
