In line with key discussions at the World Economic Forum in Davos, industry leaders from the Middle East are taking proactive steps to usher in a new world order. E& Global Technology Group has partnered with IBM to launch the region’s first AI and Generative AI governance solution.

This partnership, announced today at the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, aims to strengthen e&’s AI governance framework, ensuring compliance, oversight, and ethical practices within its growing AI ecosystem. The solution will leverage IBM’s watsonx.governance enterprise AI and data governance platform, supported by IBM Consulting’s expertise in AI implementation. It will build on e&’s commitment to responsibly scaling AI, tracking ROI, and ensuring transparency and ethical monitoring of AI models.

IBM’s AI governance tools will assist e& in addressing key challenges such as ensuring consistent oversight of AI systems, managing risks related to non-compliance and ethical issues, and monitoring AI performance at scale.

The AI governance solution introduces advanced features like automated risk management, compliance monitoring, and real-time performance analysis. These capabilities will enable e& to manage risks, detect biases, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards across the entire lifecycle of AI models—from development to decommissioning.

Dena Almansoori, Group Chief AI and Data Officer at e&, stated, “As AI continues transforming industries, responsible governance is paramount. At e&, we are committed to leading by example and setting the global benchmark for establishing robust AI governance practices. By adopting IBM watsonx.governance, we’re taking a decisive step forward in our AI journey. This collaboration ensures transparency, explainability, and efficiency across our AI operations, raising the bar for AI governance in the industry.”

The solution features a centralized inventory of AI models, ensuring complete traceability and oversight. IBM watsonx.governance enables dynamic monitoring, offering real-time insights into model performance, risk scoring, and compliance metrics. This allows e& to identify issues such as bias and drift early, facilitating corrective actions and promoting ethical AI practices.

The deployment will also integrate IBM Consulting Advantage, an AI-powered delivery platform to accelerate the development of the AI governance framework. This includes persona and journey mapping, market research, architecture patterns for AI integration, and knowledge transfer materials.
