The Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), part of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), has launched the “Tayseer” initiative to help unit owners in jointly owned properties (JOPs) settle outstanding service fees through flexible payment plans. In collaboration with JOP management companies, the initiative offers installment options with a minimum duration of six months.

“Tayseer” follows a series of meetings between RERA and management companies to address the issue of overdue service fees. As part of the initiative, management firms have agreed to a two-month registration window and will suspend enforcement actions against participating unit owners while the payment plans are in effect.

The initiative also supports the goals of the Year of the Community, launched under the theme “Together, hand in hand,” which seeks to strengthen social ties and promote values of cooperation and sustainability. So far, 19 management companies have joined the effort.

Mohammed Ali Al Badwawi, Acting CEO of RERA, said the initiative reflects DLD’s commitment to market sustainability and to enhancing collaboration between the public and private sectors.

“The ‘Tayseer’ initiative aligns with our vision of delivering proactive, customer-centric services that build trust and balance economic and social priorities,” he stated.

The initiative aims to reduce service fee-related disputes submitted to the Rental Disputes Center, lower the number of complaints, and improve the efficiency of fee collection and allocation. By introducing structured payment plans and encouraging early intervention in financial matters, Tayseer seeks to reinforce financial and operational stability across jointly owned property communities in Dubai.
