Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani co-chaired the executive committee meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council in Doha on Tuesday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including energy, sports, tourism, and investment.

Both delegations reviewed ongoing initiatives and commended the work of the council’s coordinating committees, stressing the importance of sustaining momentum to advance shared national interests.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the council as a symbol of the deepening ties between Riyadh and Doha, underscoring their success in political, security, and military collaboration.

He also pointed to the countries’ growing influence as international hubs for sports, culture, and tourism, positioning them as models for future hosts of global events. These developments, he noted, enhance both their economies and international standing.

Prince Faisal was received at Doha airport by senior Qatari officials, including Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Ahmed Al-Hammadi and Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan. His visit to Doha followed a trip to Oman, where he met with Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi on Monday.
