Dubai Healthcare City unveils $353.9 million expansion to attract global healthcare investment
The plan centers on two flagship projects: a 13,000-square-meter LEED Platinum office building and a 5,800-square-meter medical complex.

Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) has announced a $353.9 million development plan to expand Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) Phase 1, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for healthcare investment and innovation.
The multi-phase plan features flagship infrastructure projects that aim to enhance sustainability, accessibility, and investor confidence in the healthcare ecosystem.
The medical complex, designed by Dubai-based Design and Architecture Bureau (DAR), will span 5,800 square meters across five floors and two basement levels. It will include surgical and diagnostic facilities, outpatient clinics, laboratories, and medical offices with adaptable layouts and integrated smart parking.
To support these developments, DHCA will also construct multi-storey car parks equipped with electric vehicle charging stations, Salik-integrated smart parking, and full accessibility features to enhance mobility and efficiency throughout the community.
Issam Galadari, Chief Executive Officer of DHCA, said the initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the UAE Net Zero Strategy 2050. “By creating an ecosystem that attracts investment and fosters innovation, while integrating sustainability with world-class design, we will continue to cement DHCC’s position as the leading healthcare and wellness destination for the region and beyond.”
DHCA’s Chief Operating Officer, Allae Almanini, added that the projects are designed to “enable growth and instill investor confidence” while advancing sustainability and operational efficiency.
