FII Institute partners with HUMAIN to drive human-centered AI innovation in Saudi Arabia
The agreement precedes the 9th edition of the FII Institute’s flagship conference, FII9, set to take place in Riyadh this month
The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has entered into a strategic partnership with HUMAIN, a global artificial intelligence company backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).
The agreement comes ahead of the ninth edition of the FII Institute’s flagship conference, FII9, which will be held in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, 2025.
Established in May 2025, HUMAIN focuses on developing full-stack AI capabilities across four key areas: next-generation data centers, high-performance infrastructure and cloud platforms, advanced AI models—including ALLAM, one of the world’s most powerful multimodal Arabic large language models (LLMs)—and transformative AI applications.
The company aims to position Saudi Arabia as a global hub for AI innovation and support the nation’s transition toward a knowledge-based economy.
Richard Attias, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Acting CEO of the FII Institute, said the partnership combines Saudi Arabia’s “ambition and capability” with FII’s global network, adding that “AI leadership will define the next era of global competitiveness.”
HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin highlighted the importance of a human-centered approach to AI, noting that the partnership provides a “powerful global platform to accelerate innovation that’s not just advanced, but profoundly human.”
