The Dubai Airshow 2025 concluded with commercial and defense deals worth $202 billion, marking the largest total in the event’s history and doubling the $101 billion recorded in 2023. The results underscore the scale of global demand across the aviation, space, and defense sectors, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a major marketplace for leading manufacturers and governments.

The 19th edition of the Airshow attracted 248,788 visitors over five days, marking the highest attendance since the event began, and included executives, government officials, and technical specialists from 115 countries. Organizers said the event hosted 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 first-time participants, along with 490 military and civil delegations. The exhibition featured 21 national pavilions, 98 corporate chalets, an expanded 8,000-square-metre display area, as well as 120 startups and 50 investors.

Among the largest commercial announcements, Emirates confirmed new orders for 65 Boeing 777-9 aircraft and eight Airbus A350-900 jets, valued at $41.4 billion. Flydubai signed a $13 billion memorandum of understanding with Boeing to acquire 75 737 MAX aircraft, adding capacity to meet expected demand growth.

The Airshow also expanded its focus on the space industry with the largest-ever Space Pavilion, in collaboration with the UAE Space Agency, and a two-day Space Conference featuring more than 50 speakers, including astronauts and industry experts, who discussed the commercialization of orbital technologies and new satellite applications.

Sustainability played a more prominent role this year, with sustainable aviation fuel supplied for aircraft on display, electric and propane-powered ground support equipment deployed in partnership with Jetex, and exhibition halls powered by renewable energy sources.

This year’s theme, “The Future is Here,” reflected the industry’s emphasis on emerging technologies such as autonomous systems, advanced air mobility, and hybrid propulsion.

The next edition of the Dubai Airshow will take place in November 2027.
