Huawei unveils new upgraded foldable, smartwatch, and creative tablet at its 'unfold the moment' launch event
Huawei unveiled a new lineup of flagship devices at its “Unfold the Moment” launch event in Dubai, introducing updates across its foldable phone, audio, wearable and tablet categories.
The showcase featured the HUAWEI Mate X7 foldable smartphone, HUAWEI FreeClip 2 open-ear earbuds, the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN luxury smartwatch and the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S creative tablet, expanding the company’s premium ecosystem.
The Mate X7 features a slimmer and more durable build, upgraded performance and a second-generation True-to-Color Camera system. Its design draws inspiration from a 1,600-year-old brocade weaving tradition and comes in Brocade White or two vegan leather finishes. The device includes Huawei’s Ultra Reliable Foldable Architecture, reinforced hinges, Kunlun Glass protection, a large heat dissipation system and a 5,600 mAh battery.
Zhu Ping, President of Marketing and Sales Services at Huawei Consumer Business Group, said the company aims to help the world use technology to unfold every moment, highlighting Huawei’s focus on user-driven innovation.
In the audio category, the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 introduces an updated open-ear clip design for all-day comfort. Weighing 5.1 grams each, the earbuds feature dual-driver audio units, an advanced AI processor, IP57 resistance and up to 38 hours of battery life.
Huawei’s latest luxury wearable, the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN, debuts in a Royal Gold Edition with a purple ceramic bezel, 18k gold accents and a zirconium-based liquid metal case. It includes features for divers, enhanced connectivity, AI-powered call noise reduction, advanced positioning and eSIM support.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S targets young creators with its PaperMatte display, M-Pencil Pro stylus and magnetic keyboard. It comes pre-installed with upgraded creative and productivity apps, including Huawei Notes, GoPaint, Filmora and WPS Office.
Huawei said the launch reflects its ongoing commitment to user-centric innovation. Under its “Now Is Yours” brand proposition, the company aims to build stronger cross-cultural connections and make advanced technology more accessible worldwide.
