The Family Office, a Gulf-based wealth management firm, will host its investment summit, Investing Is a Sea, from January 29 to 31 on Shura Island along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast.

The event is being held against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 programme, which aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a platform for global investment dialogue and economic strategy. According to a statement issued on Sunday, the summit is designed to provide a forum for examining global investment trends, as well as emerging opportunities and risks amid shifting economic conditions.

Discussions will focus on themes including changes in the global economy, the role of private markets in portfolio construction, long-term investment approaches, and the impact of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies on investment decision-making and risk management.

Opening remarks will be delivered by Abdulmohsin Al-Omran, founder and chief executive of The Family Office, followed by keynote addresses from Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Prince Turki Al-Faisal.

The firm said the summit reflects its emphasis on institutional discipline and long-term, selective investment strategies.

Participants are expected to include Lord Jim O’Neill, former UK Treasury commercial secretary; Mohamed El-Erian, chairman of Gramercy Fund Management; Abdulrahman Al-Rashed, chairman of Al Arabiya’s editorial board; and Lebanese Economy and Trade Minister Amer Bisat, alongside other regional and international leaders.

The Family Office operates across Bahrain, Dubai, Riyadh, and Kuwait, and through its Zurich-based affiliate, Petiole Asset Management AG, which also has a presence in New York and Hong Kong. The firm is known for applying institutional investment frameworks alongside long-term strategies.

The Investing Is a Sea summit underscores Saudi Arabia’s expanding role in global financial and investment discussions, in line with Vision 2030 objectives to support economic diversification and sustainable growth.
