Saudi Arabia advances Vision 2030 goals with cleaner fuel initiative in industry
The initiatives aim to reduce operating costs, improve occupational safety, and enhance energy efficiency.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, visited Al-Khayyat Red Brick Factories as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to support national industries and advance safer, more sustainable industrial practices across the Kingdom.
During the visit, the minister reviewed the factory’s operations, production lines, and technological upgrades aimed at improving operational efficiency, enhancing product quality, and strengthening the competitiveness of locally manufactured products in the domestic market.
Alkhorayef also launched the factory’s liquid fuel replacement initiative in collaboration with the ministry’s Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program. The initiatives seek to reduce operating costs, enhance occupational safety by limiting reliance on conventional fuels, and improve energy efficiency across industrial facilities.
These measures are expected to help reduce carbon emissions and support Saudi Arabia’s environmental sustainability goals under Vision 2030, while accelerating the adoption of cleaner, more efficient technologies across the industrial sector.
Representatives of Al-Khayyat Red Brick Factories, led by Eng. Ahmed Al-Khayyat and his sons, reaffirmed their commitment to advancing initiatives that promote workplace safety, environmental protection, and sustainable industrial development in the Kingdom.
