Saudi telecom and technology services provider stc has launched its high capacity cloud services in Riyadh in partnership with Chinese tech enterprise, Alibaba Group, eWTP Arabia for Technical Innovation, the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI), and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE). 

Given the significant increase in demand for cloud computing services, it is expected that Alibaba cloud will provide advanced cloud computing services to companies operating in the kingdom, enabling them to employ high standards of security and protection.

The partnership will leverage the position of the stc Group in the services and technology solutions sector. It will employ the region’s top talent and expertise to support the local capabilities of the kingdom. Enabling it to enhance the country’s digital development, the enterprise will build an advanced ecosystem capable of meeting the future needs of the Middle East.

In line with the kingdom’s efforts to enhance economic diversification and stimulate investment opportunities in the cloud computing sector, the company will transfer knowledge and expertise to the kingdom, and contribute to developing the kingdom’s digital infrastructure and provide the latest digital data storage services and solutions.
