Luxury watch returns are beating everything from gold to vintage cars, says Bloomberg. Reportedly, no product clocks up returns like stocks, crypto, or gold. Competing to be the most sought-after watch in the luxury sector can often mean design-forward inspiration weaved into a timeless classic. It’s more than just the most audacious dial and involves precision down to the tiniest click of a second. 

Naturalistic inspiration

Cartier’s Promenade d’une Panthère watch is inspired by nature’s elements. For added glamour, it comes with a rhodium-finish steel sword-shaped hands and an alligator-skin strap, doubles adjustable folding rhodium-finish 18K white gold buckle set with 43 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.42 carats. With black lacquer spots, its individually numbered movement consists of 204 parts, including 31 jewels.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore debuted in1993. With this piece, you can wrap impact around your wrist, which claims to have defied conventions through design and aesthetic codes. The mega tapisserie dial enhances the watch’s sporty exterior aesthetics.

The Polaris collection is known for its long association with sophisticated design. It embodies Jaeger-LeCoultre’s adventurous spirit and relentless drive to create timepieces that elevate an owner’s sense of style. The watch has undergone a “1,000-hour control” testing, which includes movement testing before and after casing and extends throughout the assembly.

Celestial inspiration

The Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar first catches the eye with its aesthetic design codes that indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds combined with the day, date, month, and moon phase in an elegant design. The design codes of this timepiece draw upon the 160 years of Minerva heritage. The watch combines all the codes of the Star Legacy collection, including Arabic numerals, blue leaf-shaped hands, the iconic Montblanc exploding star guilloché pattern, a railway minute track, and filet sauté guilloché. 

Hyper mechanisms

Roger Dubuis introduced its two watches crafted from black ceramic, a material known for being challenging to harness. The Maison showcases the results of its craftsmanship with radiant ceramic editions of the Excalibur Double Tourbillon and Excalibur Monobalancier.
