Dubai Chambers explored avenues to strengthen the resilience of bilateral trade flows with Oman during an official visit to Sohar, led by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah.

During the visit, the delegation met with representatives from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s North Al Batinah Governorate branch to discuss expanding cooperation and enhancing engagement between the business communities in Dubai and Sohar.

Discussions focused on unlocking high-value investment opportunities across priority sectors and supporting the continued growth of bilateral trade.

The delegation also toured key economic and logistics assets, including SOHAR Port and Freezone and Sohar Industrial City. Meetings held during these visits focused on improving the flow of goods, strengthening supply chain resilience, and enhancing logistics integration between the two markets, in line with shared economic development objectives.

Lootah said the visit reflects Dubai Chambers’ commitment to advancing cooperation with strategic partners, facilitating seamless trade flows, and strengthening logistics connectivity to support sustainable economic growth.

The visit forms part of Dubai Chambers’ broader strategy to expand trade and investment ties with key regional and global markets, create effective channels for business engagement, and deepen collaboration between Dubai’s private sector and its international counterparts.

These efforts aim to reinforce economic resilience and enhance the private sector’s ability to respond to evolving global dynamics.
