Patek Philippe showcases 20 new timepieces and rare innovations at Watches & Wonders 2026
The 2026 collection highlights new technical features alongside traditional craftsmanship, signalling a continued focus on innovation
At Watches & Wonders 2026, Patek Philippe unveiled 20 new creations alongside four limited editions, reinforcing its position in haute horology through a combination of technical mastery and refined design.
The latest lineup highlights the Geneva-based manufacture’s continued focus on innovation, with several notable complications introduced this year. These include the brand’s first grand complication wristwatch capable of displaying sunrise and sunset times, the debut of a grand complication within the Cubitus collection, and a model featuring a 24-hour alarm function.
Leading the collection is the Celestial Ref. 6105G, a white-gold timepiece that reinterprets astronomical displays. Its dial charts the night sky as seen from Geneva, now enhanced with sunrise and sunset indications, marking a first for a Patek Philippe wristwatch.
Another key release is Ref. 5249R “The Crow and the Fox,” the brand’s first modern automaton wristwatch. The piece combines an on-demand time display with intricate decorative artistry, reflecting a blend of advanced horological engineering and traditional craftsmanship.
Alongside these technical launches, Patek Philippe is also spotlighting its artistic heritage through the Rare Handcrafts 2026 exhibition, held at its Geneva salons from April 18 to May 9. The showcase features 65 unique creations and highlights métiers d’art such as enameling, engraving, gem-setting, marquetry, and guilloché, with live demonstrations by artisans.
Among the highlights is the Ref. 992/198J “Flamenco” pocket watch, which brings together multiple decorative techniques, including cloisonné and plique-à-jour enamel, miniature painting, and hand engraving.
Together, these launches reflect Patek Philippe’s strategy of pairing technical innovation with artistic excellence. The watchmaker continues to push the boundaries of contemporary watchmaking while remaining firmly rooted in centuries-old traditions.
