Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has reaffirmed the importance of strengthening collaboration between government entities and private-sector companies to support the emirate’s evolving transport and mobility ecosystem.
The remarks were made during RTA’s Annual Partnership Forum, held at the Transportation Research and Innovation Pavilion (TRIP) at the University of Birmingham in Dubai Academic City.
The forum brought together representatives from 15 government entities and eight private-sector organisations in the UAE, alongside 48 partners, external experts, and representatives from RTA sectors and affiliated institutions.
During the event, RTA highlighted the role of strategic partnerships in supporting its priorities, enhancing future readiness, and keeping pace with Dubai’s rapid urban and economic development.
Muna Al Osaimi, CEO of the Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector at RTA, said the authority continues to expand and strengthen its network of partnerships across both the public and private sectors.
“Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority continues to broaden and strengthen its network of partners across the public and private sectors. The current forum builds on RTA’s efforts to foster a culture of institutional partnership, having evolved from a focus on knowledge exchange to raising awareness of partnerships and translating them into commitments with tangible and sustainable impact through pioneering and actionable joint initiatives that support Dubai’s strategic direction,” she said.
Al Osaimi added that the forum was organised to strengthen joint efforts with partners, identify priorities and perspectives, and improve communication channels in a way that supports RTA’s strategic objectives and enhances integration across projects and initiatives.
The forum also featured a series of interactive workshops, where RTA representatives and partners explored five key themes shaping the future of transport and mobility. Discussions focused on integration and innovative mobility, sustainability, customer happiness, health, safety and security, and future readiness.
The initiative forms part of RTA’s broader efforts to encourage collaboration and develop future-focused mobility solutions aligned with Dubai’s long-term development agenda.
