Dubai Police completes 65 infrastructure projects as it advances AI-powered policing

Dubai Police has completed 65 of 88 infrastructure and construction projects over the past five years as part of a long-term strategy to build a more resilient, technology-enabled policing system, with the remaining 23 projects currently underway.

The update was shared during the annual inspection of the General Department of Logistics Support, during which Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, reviewed progress in logistics, infrastructure, and operational development.

The department maintained a 99% planning efficiency rate in resource and asset management across 2024 and 2025, underscoring its focus on improving operational readiness through sustainable infrastructure, smart technologies, and advanced logistics capabilities.

Al Marri said expanding logistics support and accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across operational processes are central to strengthening institutional readiness and sustaining public sector excellence in line with the Dubai government’s long-term vision.

The completed and ongoing projects form part of a broader modernization program aimed at upgrading police facilities, improving operational efficiency, and preparing the force for future policing requirements. Dubai Police is also refurbishing facilities to align with international standards while planning to introduce smart technologies for asset, facility, and service management to optimize efficiency and resource use.

Performance metrics presented during the inspection reflected high satisfaction levels across several services, including supplier satisfaction at 93.8%, employee satisfaction at 99.3%, catering services at 99.9%, Officers Club services at 97.7%, and Esaad card services for employees at 91.5%.

The department also highlighted its progress in innovation and institutional excellence, securing three local and international awards and publishing nine approved intellectual works to support knowledge management and operational excellence.

Among its recent recognitions were the UK’s Green Apple Award for its Carbon Zero Police Force project and two honors under the Dubai Demand Side Management Excellence Program for its Standard Home Retrofit Project and Solar Energy for Buildings Project. The department also received Dubai Municipality’s Gold Category A Food Safety Classification.

Concluding the inspection, Al Marri praised the department’s achievements and called for continued investment in AI-powered logistics, sustainable infrastructure, and innovative operational solutions to reinforce Dubai Police’s position among the world’s leading law enforcement organizations.
