Abu Dhabi Chamber targets global expansion for local companies through London initiative
The Global Executive Connect program brought together 17 representatives from 11 Abu Dhabi companies for more than 30 business meetings.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has strengthened international business ties through its Global Executive Connect program in London, connecting 17 representatives from 11 Abu Dhabi-based companies with senior executives and decision-makers from British and international organizations.
As part of the Abu Dhabi delegation’s visit to London, the program facilitated more than 30 targeted business meetings to explore investment opportunities, establish commercial partnerships, and support the emirate’s private sector in its international expansion.
Drawing on a network of 44 British and international companies and institutions, the initiative connected participating businesses with potential partners based on their commercial priorities and growth ambitions.
Discussions covered opportunities across financial services, investment, energy, advanced manufacturing, technology, artificial intelligence, healthcare, real estate, construction, retail, and sports.
Among the participating international institutions were financial services group CMC Markets, which reported £46.3 billion ($61.6 billion) in client assets under administration for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, and Westcore Europe, which manages a European real estate portfolio valued at €750 million ($840.7 million).
The meetings also explored joint investment opportunities, supply chain development, access to advanced technologies, and potential collaborations that could strengthen the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi-based companies in global markets.
Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the program reflects the Chamber’s efforts to translate international relationships into measurable economic opportunities.
“One of our key priorities is to translate Abu Dhabi Chamber’s international relationships into tangible economic opportunities for the private sector,” he said.
The initiative comes amid strengthening economic ties between Abu Dhabi and the United Kingdom. According to the Chamber, new membership registrations by British companies increased by 45% in 2025, reflecting growing interest in Abu Dhabi’s investment landscape.
Al Marzooqi emphasized that expanding access to international businesses and institutions would help local companies enter new markets and establish long-term commercial relationships.
The Chamber plans to build on the connections established through the program, supporting participating companies as they explore new partnerships and investment opportunities.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to enhance the international competitiveness of Abu Dhabi’s private sector and reinforce the emirate’s position as a global business and investment hub.
