Fatma Lootah is a leading figure in international art and a principal cultural ambassador for the UAE. Her career spans diverse forms of expression, notably performance, but primarily centers on abstract art. Since her debut solo exhibition in Bolzano in 1984, Lootah has showcased her work globally: throughout Italy, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, India, and the US, where it was displayed in New York’s Times Square as part of the Nasdaq Artist in Residence project.
Her art has appeared in acclaimed venues worldwide, cementing her status as a major contemporary artist.
