Noor Sweid is the Founder and Managing Partner of Global Ventures, a venture capital firm based in the UAE that invests across the Middle East and Africa. She started Global Ventures in 2018 after working as Chief Investment Officer at the Dubai Future Foundation. Earlier, she helped grow two companies: Depa, her family business, became the world’s largest interior contracting company and was listed on the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. ZenYoga, the region’s first yoga studio, expanded into the largest yoga and wellness chain before being acquired by a private equity firm in 2014.

Sweid is also a judge on Shark Tank Dubai and the author of Coming of Age: How Technology and Entrepreneurship Are Changing the Face of MENA. She actively supports founders as they grow their businesses worldwide.
