Major UAE companies say their operations remain stable and their financial positions strong despite recent geopolitical tensions in the region, even as markets brace for short-term volatility.

In statements released on Wednesday, several firms listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) reassured investors that their businesses are operating normally and that their balance sheets remain resilient.

Companies including Investcorp Capital, Presight AI Holding, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), Al Wathba National Insurance Company (AWNIC), and Hily Holding said they are closely monitoring the evolving situation while prioritizing the safety of employees and assets.

The companies, which represent sectors including finance, technology, aviation, and logistics, said they have not observed any material impact on their liquidity or overall financial performance.

Some firms acknowledged that heightened geopolitical tensions could lead to short-term market fluctuations. However, they expressed confidence in their long-term resilience, citing diversified portfolios and the UAE’s stable business environment.

“While heightened geopolitical tensions may create short-term volatility, ICAP’s diversified global portfolio and disciplined investment approach position us to navigate uncertainty with resilience,” Investcorp Capital said in a statement.

Trading on the UAE’s two main stock exchanges had been paused for two days following the outbreak of hostilities in the GCC on February 28, 2026. When markets reopened on Wednesday, most stocks on both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai bourses closed in negative territory.
