Aldar and PureHealth partner to build longevity-focused communities in Abu Dhabi
The partnership aims to integrate preventive healthcare, technology, and wellness into the design of future communities as Abu Dhabi advances its health longevity ambitions.
Abu Dhabi real estate developer Aldar and healthcare group PureHealth have partnered to develop health longevity-focused living environments that combine technology, wellness, and preventive care within everyday community life.
The strategic partnership will explore ways to embed health and wellbeing into the design of homes, neighbourhoods, and community experiences, supporting the UAE’s ambition to become a global hub for health longevity and sustainable living.
By combining PureHealth’s clinical expertise with Aldar’s data-driven approach to community development, the collaboration aims to translate longevity science into practical solutions that improve quality of life and create healthier, more connected communities.
“Supported by PureHealth’s Pura Clinic – the region’s centre for precision health and health longevity science – we are enabling individuals to take charge of their health with advanced technologies, from air quality systems and smart beds to smart mirrors offering real-time contactless health insights,” said Rashed AlQubaisi, Group Chief Operating Officer of PureHealth.
Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development, said wellness is becoming a core principle in how communities are designed and operated.
“At Aldar, we see wellness as a defining principle of how we plan, design, and operate our destinations,” Emery said. “Together with PureHealth, we are creating communities that enable people to live healthier, longer, and more connected lives, while advancing Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a global benchmark for sustainable, human-centric communities.”
The partnership will include opportunities for joint research, knowledge sharing, and measuring health outcomes. Aldar and PureHealth will also explore pilot initiatives across selected communities and assets, bringing together healthcare, technology, and the built environment to shape future models of longevity-driven living.
