Applications are now open for Fast Company Middle East’s Most Innovative Companies 2023, the ultimate ranking of organizations changing the world of business and society.

After the remarkable success of its inaugural edition, this year will have more categories, more winners and create more opportunities for honorees in a region that has emerged as a hotbed of innovation.

Most Innovative Companies 2023 nominations are open to companies of all sizes, from startups to established industry leaders, across various sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, retail, real estate, and social good. Due to this year’s huge response, we have introduced new categories such as logistics & mobility, corporate social responsibility, and workplace to further recognize and honor revolutionary breakthroughs. 

In 2022, we saw an overwhelming response for the coveted list, with over 300 submissions from diverse organizations across the region. Of these, 42 organizations across 25 categories were honored — from the largest companies in the region to small startups with only a handful of employees.

The companies honored ranged from established enterprises to startups that focused on artificial intelligence to improve business outcomes (IBM), developing new products in the health and wellness space and sourcing local produce (Barakat Group), disrupting on-demand shopping (RabbitMart), redefining early-stage education through neuroscience-based play tools (Monkibox), reinventing the luxury market by empowering local designers (Chalhoub Group) and developing tailor-made skin care products for the region (Peacefull). 

The winning companies were honored at a red carpet event hosted at Armani Hotel in Dubai, attended by visionaries, trailblazers, venture capitalists, and influential business leaders.

The event celebrated innovation and served as a platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of groundbreaking ideas. It offered a valuable opportunity for like-minded individuals to converge and revel in the collective brilliance of the region’s most innovative minds.
