Aster Clinics UAE plans to expand network to more than 100 facilities by 2030

Aster Clinics UAE is doubling down on primary healthcare, announcing plans to expand its network from 85 to more than 100 facilities across the UAE by 2030 as demand for outpatient care continues to rise.

The healthcare provider will invest AED100 million over the next four years to support the expansion, increasing its workforce to 4,100 employees while rolling out new specialty centers, digital health capabilities, and enhanced diagnostic services across its network.

The move comes as patient volumes continue to grow. Aster said annual footfall across its clinics has increased by 15% over the past year, while outpatient care now accounts for more than 70% of all healthcare interactions in the UAE, highlighting the country’s growing reliance on primary care as the first point of contact for treatment.

Rather than simply opening more clinics, Aster is reimagining how neighborhood healthcare is delivered. The expansion will focus on high-density residential areas and emerging communities, aligning with the UAE’s vision of “10–15 minute” healthcare, where essential medical services are available close to where people live.

The new facilities will integrate specialist services, enhanced diagnostics, smart health technologies, and home care offerings, reflecting a broader shift towards more personalized and preventive care.

Chronic disease management is another priority. Aster plans to expand its diabetes care program through a “clinic within a clinic” model while also scaling orthopedics and physiotherapy services across its network.

The investment reflects a broader transformation underway in the UAE’s healthcare sector, where providers are expanding beyond hospitals to build community-based networks that improve access to care, enable earlier management of chronic diseases, and reduce pressure on acute care facilities.
