American-Palestinian supermodel Bella Hadid is named “most stylish person on the earth” by British GQ. The 26-year-old supermodel, who was picked from a list of celebrity trendsetters such as Harry Styles, Jaden Smith, Kim Kardashian, and Lil Nas X, was praised for “her ability to make menswear, womenswear, smart wear, and even wavywear work,” by the men’s style and fashion magazine.
“Hadid does menswear better than most men — and she can still wear everything and anything else. Tailoring. Prada loafers. Big denim jackets. There was even a tie at one point. It’s wavy, classic, and uncomplicated all at once,” the magazine added.
Hadid is the younger sister of 27-year-old supermodel Gigi Hadid and the second child of Palestinian-Jordanian property developer Mohamed Hadid and former reality television star Yolanda Hadid. She started modeling at 16, and since then, she has appeared 27 times on the cover of worldwide Vogue publications. She broke the record held by model Doutzen Kroes for the most Vogue September covers in one year in 2017.
As per media reports, Hadid and her sister Gigi are currently among the highest-paid models in the world, taking home roughly $19 million annually.
An advocate for Palestinian causes, she recently showed her support to a small Palestinian business in the US by posting pictures of a Palestinian entrepreneur who owns an independent record shop in New York. She urged her followers to visit the shop.
