Al Tayer also highlighted the UAE’s progress in advancing its energy sector through the adoption of clean technologies and sustainable solutions, as well as its expertise in water desalination and water resource management. He emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange and collaboration in accelerating innovation and addressing future sustainability challenges.

For his part, Göktaş praised DEWA’s achievements in the fields of energy, water, and sustainability, and reaffirmed Türkiye’s interest in expanding cooperation with the authority.

He also expressed interest in strengthening partnerships across development and investment projects that support shared economic and sustainability goals.

The meeting forms part of broader efforts to deepen cooperation between the UAE and Türkiye in strategic sectors, including renewable energy, infrastructure development, and resource management.
