What is the future of governance? How will AI transform work, government, and society? What is the impact of current socio-economic issues on future generations? These are some of the questions leaders will address at the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai next week.

Held under the theme of Shaping Future Governments, the event will bring thought leaders, global experts, and decision-makers from around the globe to share and contribute to developing tools, policies, and models essential in shaping future governments.

And headlining the three-day summit will be Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, who will be in a conversation with Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman on February 15. Also speaking will be Idris Elba, the actor who starred in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and UN Goodwill Ambassador. He will talk about the craft of storytelling in a session on February 14 with Jeffrey Katzenberg, Co-founder of Dreamworks.

Even musician, producer, and founder of Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am will be speaking at the event.  Two hundred fifty ministers, 10,000 government officials, thought leaders, celebrities, and global experts would attend the summit. Klaus Schwab, the executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, will address important socio-economic issues.
