Palestinian entrepreneurs and regional representatives of business incubators, fintech accelerators, and VC firms have worked together to create a thriving entrepreneurial landscape in Palestine, and the region is already beginning to see remarkable outcomes.
The fourth edition of the International Conference on Entrepreneurship, ICEP 4.0, will bring together over 20 potential Palestinian businesspeople in Dubai on November 1 and 2, 2022.
The annual two-day event, with the theme Innovative Palestine in the UAE; People & Potential, will take place in Dubai for the first time in the Museum of the Future and DIFC Fintech Hive, respectively. ICEP 4.0 is being held with the assistance of the Dubai Future Foundation and in strategic conjunction with the DIFC Innovation Hub.
“It is rare and inspiring to witness Palestinian entrepreneurs overcome geopolitical challenges to innovate and create platforms that can have a real impact on their communities and, hopefully, the region,” said Tarek Aggad, chairman of Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC).
“ICEP 4.0 is showcasing vibrant startups from a wide range of sectors in Fintech, Edtech, Insurtech, AI, and Healthtech. We hope ICEP will help unveil the true potential and versatility of the Palestinian entrepreneurship ecosystem and inspire additional support from business leaders and investors in the UAE who can partner with these startups on the next step in their growth journey,” Aggad added.
Palestinian startups participating in ICEP 4.0 will include ecommerce firm Vatrin, retail growth platform Gamify, healthtech player Tawazon, proptech company Mashvisor, AI-based sustainable development firm Algebra Intelligence, AI-based dialect app Xina AI, healthtech player 360Moms, and travel tech company Safra, among others.
