The UAE is on the path of rapid cloud growth, and data centers are ensuring businesses not only function well, but are also ready to embrace a digital future. Keeping that in mind, Khazna and Bee’ah Group have partnered to bring to Sharjah its first tier 3 data center, which will be equipped with environmental control systems, and full redundancy grade power. The newly established joint venture will be called One Data Center SPV Limited.

The tier 3 data center will serve the ambitious digital transformation initiatives of the Sharjah government, helping businesses to scale high-performance services, nurture customer satisfaction, and create new jobs.

The data center will have a 9 MW capacity and incorporate technologies to lower cooling requirements. Multiple power and cooling channels will be included, maximizing uptime and reducing power and maintenance costs.

“Data centers are cornerstones in enabling innovation and driving growth for businesses across a variety of sectors. They are also creating digital opportunities and seamless connections as businesses continue to develop and scale their operations. The data center will be positioned to support businesses in enhancing their customers’ experiences, unlocking the value of technologies, and making headway on their carbon footprint reduction goals by meeting their environmental and sustainability needs,” said Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna Data Centers.

Khaled Al Huraimel, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of Bee’ah Group, said that a tier 3 data center could enhance the infrastructure of government entities and private companies. “The advanced IT infrastructure will help boost investments, attract business, and bring world-class services and data sovereignty for the wider public.”
