Oman Air has announced that it will offer 48 match-day shuttle services for the upcoming World Cup 2022 in Qatar. These flights will be between Doha and Qatar from November 21 to December 23.

The tickets for these shuttles can be booked via the official website of Oman Air, and the tickets will be available at a starting price of $127 for the economy, while the tickets to the business class will start at $403 and include fees, taxes, airport charges, and hand baggage allowance.

In a statement, Oman Air advised the passengers to ensure that they should “arrive in Doha at least four hours before the start of a match due to the high frequency of flights each day. In addition, all passengers must register for a Hayya card (fan ID) prior to their flight, as this is required for travel on all Match Day Shuttle flights and for entry into Qatar.”

The airline is deploying its fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to shuttle passengers in and out of Qatar. It also offers a stopover facility for people looking to explore Qatar and Oman during the tournament.

Apart from Oman Air, several other airlines in the region are offering shuttle services to Qatar, and a massive spike has been reported in demand by people who like to fly in and out in chartered aircraft.

Meanwhile, Qatar has also added a couple of luxury cruise liners to be used as hotels to accommodate people coming to watch the games during the World Cup – which will start a day earlier than planned.
