Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur has signed a sponsorship deal with Saudi Arabia’s fitness and wellness brand Kayanee – first player in the history of tennis to join hands with a Saudi brand.
“I am thrilled to be part of Kayanee, a brand breaking new ground for women in Saudi Arabia and the region. Just as I’ve strived to push boundaries in my tennis career, Kayanee is breaking barriers in the realm of female fitness. Together, we share a commitment in promoting a healthy, active lifestyle,” said Jabeur.
The 29-year-old tennis star has been a part of Lotto Sport Italia for nearly a decade, and will now be the face of a tennis clothing line exclusively designed for her by Kayanee, which is backed by the all-powerful Public Investment Fund.
Jabeur, who is a three-time Grand Slam runner-up, stated that she is keen to discover the country more and is also hoping that she will be able to play a part in bringing more tennis to Saudi Arabia.
“Ons Jabeur is not only a phenomenal athlete but also a symbol of resilience and determination. We are honoured to have her as our global athletic ambassador. This collaboration is not just about fitness, it’s about inspiring young women to pursue their dreams and seek their own place on an international playing field,” said Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud, chairperson of Kayanee.
