According to data from Skytrax, in 2023, Singapore Airlines was crowned the World’s Best Airline at the 2023 World Airline Awards, with Qatar Airways securing the second spot. Qatar Airways, based in the Gulf state, is renowned for its hospitality and comprehensive services.

Additionally, Doha’s Hamad International Airport was honored as the world’s best airport at the annual Skytrax Awards, surpassing Singapore’s Changi Airport in the rankings.

The airport also received recognition as the world’s best airport for shopping for the second time and has maintained its status as the best airport in the Middle East for the tenth consecutive year. Continuing its commitment to enhancing luxury and premium passenger experiences, Qatar Airways is now targeting affluent individuals by incorporating Gulfstream G700 aircraft into its fleet.

According to a statement, the airline’s subsidiary, Qatar Executive, has taken delivery of two new business jets, establishing itself as the inaugural commercial operator of the G700. Although the initial two jets have been received, the airline has confirmed its anticipation of additional G700 aircraft. Eight more are slated for delivery, with two more expected to arrive within the coming weeks.

The carrier offers ultra-long-range aircraft for private charter services, with full commercial operations scheduled to commence in June. Qatar Executive has garnered interest from potential customers seeking to charter the new aircraft. Priced at $75 million, the aircraft features a bedroom and can accommodate up to 19 passengers.
