The Qatar Chamber has announced that it plans to issue a guide to promote the country’s economy and highlight commercial and industrial activities in its various sectors. This guide will establish Qatar as an international business and investment hub. The Qatar Economic & Commercial Activity Guide will be launched alongside the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Chamber’s general manager Saleh bin Hamad al-Sharqi stated that he sees the Football World Cup as an opportunity to promote the Qatari economy along with investment incentives.

The guide will provide data about doing business in Qatar, incentives on offer, and the country’s commercial and economic activities. To be created in English and Arabic and publicly available on the Chamber’s website, it will be shared with ministries, embassies, diplomatic missions to Qatar, and Qatar’s embassies.

The Chamber also plans to make this guide available complimentary to investors and companies interested in investing in the country.

In recent news, a Global Finance report ranked Qatar among the top four wealthiest countries across the globe after countries like Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Singapore.
