Qiddiya Investment Company on Monday expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to support the digital infrastructure of Qiddiya City, the 360-square-kilometre entertainment, sports and culture development located outside Riyadh.

Under the expanded partnership, Saudi technology firm Master Works will oversee systems integration, connecting cloud, data and artificial intelligence tools across city operations as Qiddiya continues to scale its venues, districts and visitor services.

Qiddiya City is planned to include more than 20 districts and around 400 attractions, with the capacity to accommodate approximately 500,000 residents, according to Qiddiya and the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Key assets within the project include Six Flags Qiddiya City, Aquarabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, Speed Park Track, and a dedicated gaming and esports district.

The development forms part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, launched in 2016 to diversify the economy, increase non-oil activity and boost tourism and entertainment spending.

Qiddiya said Google Cloud’s data and AI technologies will provide integrated, real-time visibility into construction progress, visitor demand and operational efficiency through a unified operating platform.

Company executives said the system is expected to reduce the time required to generate operational insights from weeks to minutes, enabling faster responses to capacity pressures, construction updates and service bottlenecks.

Abdulrahman Alali, Chief Technology Officer at Qiddiya Investment Company, said the initiative aims to deliver a seamless digital experience connecting Qiddiya City with the company’s broader entertainment portfolio across Saudi Arabia.

The rollout will center on three core systems. An AI Factory powered by the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform will analyze visitor behavior, spending patterns and movement data to support crowd management and personalized guest experiences.

Q Brain, Qiddiya’s agentic AI platform, will provide staff with real-time operational intelligence and autonomous task execution capabilities. Meanwhile, BigQuery will serve as the unified data platform across Qiddiya’s entertainment assets, supporting integrated decision-making across sites.

Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban, Managing Director for Google Cloud in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, said the technology stack would help transform large volumes of operational data into actionable insights.

Master Works will lead systems integration for the project as Qiddiya’s local delivery partner. The company achieved Google Cloud Premier Partner status in September 2025 and was named Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Saudi Arabia in 2026.

Qiddiya previously collaborated with Google Cloud through a Cloud Centre of Excellence launched in partnership with Deloitte. The latest expansion marks a shift from capability development towards full city-scale deployment as the project advances.
