The soccer fever is far from over in the Middle East, as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are set to have one final dance together on a football field next week in Riyadh.

The Saudi government’s entertainment arm said on Twitter that Mushref Al-Ghamdi, general manager of real estate group AqarOne, is the leader in an auction in the Ronaldo-Messi match on January 19, when PSG will take on Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal’s joint XI in Riyadh.

The “Beyond Imagination” ticket holder is entitled to attend the post-match awards ceremony, visit the players’ locker rooms, and interact with the two athletes who have been vying for the title of greatest in the world for years.

This will be the first time Messi and Ronaldo will face each other on the football field since 2020. On the other hand, Ronaldo has stepped outside Europe for the first time in 20 years of his career.

Meanwhile, Messi is appointed by Saudi Arabia as a tourist ambassador in addition to Ronaldo. The Qatari government, which hosted the World Cup 2022, owns Paris St. Germain.
